Growler E 2011, a Respect to Jaguar E-Style

Growler E 2011 is a concept car which was conceived by automotive designer from Vizualtech named Bo Zolland in collaboration with designer Robelt Palm. The presence of this new Growler E 2011 is a separate respect for the Jaguar E-Type, and at once this Growler E 2011 also represents the language of design brand that takes inspiration from the classic variants. Year 2011 is a special momentum for the legend of Jaguar E-Type to celebrate 50th anniversary. In 1961, the Jaguar E-type was premiered at the Geneva Motor Show.

This inspired Jaguar E-Type car variant which is named Growler E 2011 was developed according to the model of Jaguar XKR. This new Growler is powered by supercharged 5.0 Liter V8 delivering deliver 600 hp. The designers said, “Everyone doesn’t like the direction taken lately by Jaguar design, initiated by the Jaguar XF and confirmed by the new XJ. “

“There are still many friends of the noble English brand who are nostalgic of the sensual shapes of the XK 120, Mark II, XJ6 and, last but not least, the fantastic Jaguar E-Type.”

“This project was born in the mind of one of these nostalgic fans, who wanted to see the original style again, but up to date and with the latest technology.”
