Indian Cricketer Virender Sehwag made a trip to Delhi to consult a doctor. The opener, who was struck on his ribs while playing against a local bowler in the nets ahead of Sunday’s World Cup game against England, wanted a second opinion and will rejoin the team shortly.
The Indian team opted to rest and will commence training from Wednesday.
India’s next game is against Ireland here on March 6.
